Drama post Women's Bible Study!

Today's Lesson learnt from such a wonderful lecture series taught by Dr. Connie Caldwell..."integrity:- people with integrity are those whose words match their deeds and whose behaviors mirror their values" (an exert from today's HOPE brochure) all I can say is thank you all for your caring as what seemed a devastating news to me when I thought my dog had just passed. I would also thank Rita for driving me home to check the situation out as I was in no state of mind to drive and as we slowly opened the door expecting the worst, we spontaneously burst out in a laughter as we saw that it was simply one of my dog's teddy bears that looked like him whilst I was checking on him via a baby cam on my iPhone!!!! lOl... It is truly a blessing to have such wonderful new friends who care...I thank you all the First Ladies of the Round Table! :0) I know that I am truly blessed because I have you!

 

Women's Bible Study of Esther

Ladies be sure to attend the eye opening Bible Studies session with Rev Connie on Thursdays 10 am at the Chapel in The Sky. A ten week study of Esther ending on Dec 5th 2013. We are anticipating a special SWIF movie night at end of this study in December that would nicely tie and clarify the story and character of Esther as a grand finale.

Healthy Body & Soul

On Monday the 'Christianity and Culture night' lecture was very informative where the lecturers where a mother and daughter Pilates health trainers who spoke about core and health for all ages. We had a full house at the Cottage..I knew half of the attendees which was wonderful and met a few more! I encourage all to attend the next culture night! As for our luncheon on Sunday we had a ball...one would think that the SWIF ladies of the round table were on some natural high as we had the loudest table of laughter and hearty gossip!! lol :0)

Sunday brunch & Girls's night Out dates confirmed

Sunday Brunch at Seasons52 in the Galleria Mall

Well, what can I say it was a great choice by Janet. The ambiance was wonderful, great service, entrees well presented though at first one would think that it couldn't fill a baby but surprisingly enough the dishes were health, hearty (and under 500 calories) and well priced! Personally I would give it an 8. We, the SWIF ladies of the Round Table, had lovely discussions and all in all a wonderful fellowship.!! :0) we even had Mary Sharifi virtually there via video Skype!!! lol Ladies, until we meet again, stay simply F.A.Bulous !!(Faith+Action=Blessed). Women's Bible Study...absolute full house!

What a wonderfully educational yet jolly hour we had yesterday morning at the Chapel in The Sky. Dr Connie Caldwell clearly had our attention with her charming way of educating us the way of Yahweh...Bravo!

SWIF Sunday Lunch was simply magnifico!

Yesterday's luncheon at J Alexander's restaurant. The dishes were healthy, abundant and reasonably priced...tip of the day always check the poweder room of an establishment to calculate whether or not one should eat there! Well I am happy to report that it earned a 9 as it was clean and well presented...we had a wonderful time in fellowship.

Women's Ministry Welcome Back Social

Today we had a lovely time in fellowship at 'The Cottage'. The house was totally packed indicating that it was a successful ministry. Just wished we had taken some photos!!! :0/ SWIF group as well as new ladies also attended...Pastor Connie lead a wonderful session today with Laura as the MC. We ate healthy food which came in handy as i hadnt had a chance to grab a bite before attending!!! lol Be sure to attend next weeks Bible study to be held at the Chapel in The Sky! Rally Day, ribbon cutting of our Youth Center and SWIF

What a F.A.B ulous day we had today...the church was buzzing with action! SWIF had its flyers and much was distributed and placed at the cottage, back of the sanctuary, and new friends we met along the way. It was a pleasure meeting our Mayor and commissioner. The whole First Pres congregation and community seemed to be present...Loved breaking bread with fellow SWIF ladies and enjoying hearty conversations. We encourage each and every SWIF lady to invite one guest at each of our functions. See you at the next SWIF get together...and as always have a F.A.B (Faith+Action=Blessed) upcoming week! Mandana.
